ThoxMicroV Toolkit

Inside the toolkit.

The toolkit assembles the OS, patches, frameworks, and optimizations into one shipped surface. Pull it down, boot it on the target platform, and connect it to your operator console.

What ships in the toolkit

ThoxOS

A custom Linux operating system tuned for Edge AI workloads, distributed as a bootable image for Intel-class and NVIDIA-class edge platforms.

Intel-developed Linux patches

A curated set of Intel-authored kernel and userspace patches that have not yet landed upstream. ThoxMicroV applies them in a tracked, reproducible build.

NVIDIA AI and quantum frameworks

NVIDIA’s Linux packages and frameworks for AI and quantum computing, integrated against ThoxOS so partners can target NVIDIA-class platforms without reassembling the stack.

THOX.ai kernel optimizations

Performance and capability work authored by THOX.ai on top of the upstream and vendor patches, focused on edge inference, mesh participation, and MagStack peripheral pathways.

Who the toolkit is for

Development partners

Build product on top of a Linux base that already passes the Intel and NVIDIA capability surface for Edge AI.

Cloud-to-edge migrators

Move existing AI workloads from cloud GPUs to edge platforms without rewriting the deployment story.

Operating system vendors and technology partners

Pull a reproducible, documented patch set into your own distribution path with traceable provenance.

What you get end-to-end

  1. 1

A bootable ThoxOS image for the target platform family.

  2. 2

The patch ledger — every Intel, NVIDIA, and THOX.ai change with provenance and version.

  3. 3

A device runtime that registers with the operator console and accepts pairing tokens.

  4. 4

A constrained admin REPL (thoxosctl shell) accessible from the operator console — never raw SSH.

  5. 5

Reproducible build scripts for partners that need to rebuild against their own kernel baseline.

What is NOT in the toolkit

  • No proprietary inference engine. Use what fits the platform.

  • No certified HIPAA/GDPR/SOC 2 wrappers. The toolkit is designed to support privacy-aligned deployment patterns; certification is the operator’s responsibility.

  • No vendor-specific marketing benchmarks. Performance numbers must be measured by the integrating party.

Provenance and licensing

Patch sources are tracked. Intel-developed patches are attributed to Intel. NVIDIA-distributed packages retain NVIDIA’s licensing. THOX.ai contributions are attributed to THOX.ai LLC.

The toolkit does not relabel third-party work as THOX.ai work.
