Plaintext stays on your devices
For private and local routes, prompts and results stay on devices you own.
The coordinator is not in the payload path
The coordinator does not receive model weights or private inference payloads from the private peer path.
Peers are authenticated
Requests and responses between mesh peers are authenticated before any work is accepted.
No cloud inference required
MeshStack can operate over private local and mesh networking without requiring cloud inference.
How it works
Authorize, discover, delegate, review.
Signing in, being allowed to use a resource, and having a healthy route to it are three different facts. Step through the flow and switch each check to see how they combine.

Authorize
Sign in and enroll a device in your mesh. Membership shows the device belongs to your account. It does not, on its own, grant access to anything another device offers.
Route preference
Explanatory preview · not live dataWork goes to an enrolled peer that permits the capability, over an authenticated connection you own.
Delegation waits because there is no healthy route to the peer yet. The work stays on this device or waits. There is no automatic cloud fallback.
Optional hosted processing is a separate route with its own disclosure and consent. Read the pairing guide and the privacy model.

One still capture of an existing MeshStack desktop build (v1.3.14) running on Windows: the chat surface, the Mesh, Node, Routing and Memory rail, status cards, and the private-route selector on the composer. MeshStack connects authenticated devices and compute into a distributed private AI mesh. In the THOX software family, ThoxOS runs AI, MeshStack connects AI, and ThoxWork, for working with AI, is coming soon.
Published client releases, public download access, and store listings are separate. Check the current distribution and release notes for your exact platform and client; contact THOX if no public installer link is provided. A published build does not mean an app-store listing is live or that every platform supports the same tunnel and inference features.
No. The five platform previews are reference interfaces with illustrative states and values. They show the flows each app is built around; they are not captures of shipped native apps, and features differ by platform and release. The Windows desktop capture is a separate, labeled still of an existing desktop build, panned and zoomed, not a recorded session.
On the route you choose. The private route prefers this device, then an authorized peer in your mesh, then a remote target only if you have explicitly configured one. There is no automatic cloud fallback in the private route. Optional hosted processing uses an external service and needs its own disclosure and consent. This website and its hosted demos have separate data handling.
No. Membership, resource permission, and a healthy workload route are separate. A coordinator heartbeat shows that a device can reach the coordination service; it does not prove a peer handshake or a working inference route. An adapter marked Running while its connection is Connecting has not yet established the peer handshake. Check the peer, tunnel, and workload status separately.
Offline behavior depends on the client release, installed models, and network configuration. Local work may run without a hosted service; peer work still needs a reachable, supported peer connection. Enrollment, discovery, updates, or hosted routes can need internet access. Check your release’s requirements before relying on offline operation.
An app window, sign-in, and a running network adapter are different capabilities. Tunnel support varies by platform and client; some builds report UnsupportedPlatform for native tunnel operations. Check that your exact build supports the requested feature, then follow its permission and pairing instructions. Repeated sign-ins will not add an unsupported tunnel backend.
No. The watch companion shows mesh status and job progress, and relays explicit approvals through your paired iPhone. It does not run inference for the mesh.
No. ThoxBeam is a specialized runtime inside ThoxOS that ThoxKey uses on compatible host compute. The software family is ThoxOS, MeshStack, and the upcoming ThoxWork.
MeshStack supports the goal of connecting devices beyond THOX hardware. Use the requirements and current account terms for your platform and release. Device ownership or a downloaded app alone does not establish a plan entitlement, device limit, or supported inference connection.
Read the platform guide or visit the Support Center. Include your platform, app version, and connection status when asking for help; keep private keys and credentials out of support messages.
