What Is ThoxAir Designed to Do?
ThoxAir is a battery-powered wireless AI device with its own compute module. It runs supported local AI tasks without another device supplying the processing. It has less processing power than ThoxMini or ThoxClip, making it suited to lighter workloads. MeshStack connections are optional when you want to use additional resources.
How Is ThoxAir Different from ThoxKey?
ThoxKey carries your runtime and models on a USB-C drive and uses a connected computer for processing. ThoxAir has its own compute module and battery, so supported AI tasks run on ThoxAir itself. Choose ThoxKey for carrying a workspace between computers, or ThoxAir for lighter local AI tasks on the go.
Can I Use ThoxAir with My Phone?
Yes. You can use ThoxAir through ThoxOS Web in your phone's browser now. No app download is required. Dedicated iOS and Android apps are coming soon, but you can use the web experience without waiting for them.
Does ThoxAir Need an Internet Connection?
Supported local functions can work offline once the required software, model, and files are ready. Tasks that use another device need a connection to that device. The virtual ThoxAir browser demo uses online processing and does not demonstrate offline hardware performance.
